With the school year drawing to a close, now comes time for the annual May Ball. All students are invited to this formal event that lasts into the wee hours of morning. While this soiree is definitely the party of the year, tickets come with a price. But don't worry, the experience alone is well worth the cost.

REGISTRATION everything crucial to getting registered can be found here. check out the enclosed canon list to see what we are looking for, also see the application we're asking you to fill out. this is the place where applications may be posted while you are working on them. guest friendly.
THE YEAR BOOK all accepted applications will be moved and stored here. once your application has been placed here, you may continue with signups and then start r/ping. do not post your applications here, we will move them once accepted.

PIKE PLACE MARKET pike place market, an open-air shopping haven and seattle institution, is a must-see for first time and return visitors alike. be prepared for large crowds on the weekends and during the summer tourist season. here you will find gorgeous freshly-cut flower bouquets, fresh fish, fine foods and much, much more. visit the original starbucks and take photos with the vendors. check out the street performers, and put a dollar in the big brass pig. this has been a favorite seattle attraction for many years.
MUSEUM OF FLIGHT the museum of flight is an expansive facility filled with all things related to flight. from the first primitive glider designed by the wright brothers to the stealthy "blackbird" capable of mach 3, the museum has assembled a massive collection of flying machines. situated at boeing field in seattle, it is easy to find and enjoyable fun for everyone.
WOODLAND PARK ZOO nationally award-winning woodland park zoo is a 92-acre zoological garden featuring more than 1,000 animals representing nearly 300 species from around the world. new exhibits include zoomazium, an indoor, nature-themed play space for kids, and coming in 2009, the new humboldt penguin exhibit, replicating the desert coasts of their native peru. the woodland park zoo is a favorite for all ages.

CHITTENDEN LOCKS the hiram m chittenden locks are a set of locks designed to maintain the levels of fresh water in lake washington, to keep the saltwater from the puget sound out of the fresh water, and also to transport boats back and forth. a breathtaking view of the water on both sides makes this a popular destination for rest and relaxation. also in the spring time, the well known fish ladder is a common attraction.

KLONDIKE GOLD RUSH PARK the klondike gold rush national park is really a free museum that documents all of seattle's history, from the fire that burned it down to the gold rush that helped rebuild it. a great place to relax and learn about a little history, many college students can be seen frequenting the park.
ELLIOT BAY BOOK COMPANY bookstores are a staple of every college students life, and the elliot bay book company is one of the most popular. known for having one of the first in house coffee shops (built in 1979), many students are seen here, reading and studying. a place of rest and relaxation, elliot bay book company is a great destination for a day of studying and relaxing.
THE LAST SUPPER CLUB big city style with underground appeal, the last supper club has become a destination of a crowded nightlife scene. from international tours to the strongest local names, the street tested mid-weeks and massive weekend nights have built a loyal crowd of clubbers who know their beats. three floors of decks and bars, intelligent lighting, and state of the art sound makes this the one place in pioneer square that holds the nightlife down.
SPACE NEEDLE the space needle is easily one of seattle's most well known landmarks. climb 520 feet to the observation deck of seattle's signature building, which is actually 605 feet tall, for spectacular views of the city and its surrounding area. for food and fantastic sights check out skycity, the tower's rotating restaurant that makes one complete orbit per hour. the space needle is a great destination for a romantic getaway or just a dinner out with friends.

ALKI BEACH alki beach is located in a neighborhood called "west seattle," and faces west to the olympic mountains. the water is too chilly to swim in, but there in the summer there are hoards of people roller blading, walking their dogs and trying to soak up as much seattle sun as possible. logs and fire pits complete a 'pacific northwest' version of a beach. at the north end of the strip, turning around the point yields a fantastic view of downtown seattle and sparkles at night.
SEATTLE AQUARIUM the seattle aquarium might be a bit on the smaller side, but without a doubt it's still great amusement for those young and old alike. with exhibits ranging from jellyfish and octopus to sea otters and seals, the seattle aquarium is one of the few aquariums to allow tourists to have a hands on experience. no matter how many times a person visits the aquarium, there is always something new to see.
